Our Universal Design Process
Coming up with a logo, website, or a complete brand for your business is like building a house which requires planning and thought in order for it to be successful. This is our simple three step process to make the process seamless and easy.
Step One: Discuss Your Needs with Us
Get in touch with us and discuss your project and goals and we can work on a project outline that meets your needs.
Step Two: Gather and Organize Your Content
The next and most important step in completing the designing task for you is to gather and organize your ideas. This will be different for every client. Some clients may already have this step plan out very well. If not it is okay because we will help you. You have to ask these questions.
What information is critical?
What pieces of information are secondary?
What is the niche market or target audience?
What is your color scheme?
Generally for web development your content is going to be divided into text content, images, photographs and artwork, and tables of information. Great images really boost the visual appeal of your site. Think about what photos might look good on your site. Maybe you just need branding for logos, flyers, business cards or email newsletters. We can help with that as well.
Once you have decided what information you want to include on your site, think about how to logically divide this information into the pages of your site. Next think through the navigation of your site. What information will be on your home (front) page and how will your visitors access other pages? For many sites this will be easy and obvious but its still valuable to think through how your visitors will navigate the content on your site. If you are planning to add more content over time, how will this new content be integrated into the existing site.
For branding you want to plan on how your want your overall image to look and will it make your target audience become buyers of your business?
Step Three: Mock up
This is the stage where we will take your ideas and send a combination of sketches, website examples and images so we can get a visual direction of what you are looking for.
Step Four: Confirmation and Delivery
The final step you give the green light then the magic happens. Once the project is completed you will review the work then we celebrated until the next project. 🙂
